Nelson Tasman now have more than 1000 confirmed cases of Covid-19 according to Nelson Marlborough Health figures.
NMH today announced that there are 1182 cases in the region; 1006 in Nelson Tasman, 153 in Marlborough and 23 either unknown or listed as 'other'.
It comes as the countries daily case number for Monday nears 15,000.
The Ministry of Health announced 14,633 cases in New Zealand.
Since Friday, 10.8 million Rapid Antigen Tests have arrived in the country. This follows 5.2 million that landed on Thursday.
There are 344 people in hospital with Covid-19, none of those are in the Nelson Marlborough region.
The Ministry of Health say that even this early on in the outbreak, unvaccinated people are four times over-represented in hospitalisation rates.
