UPDATE 2.13PM: Whakatu Drive has reopened in all directions.
Part of SH6 is closed on Whakatu Drive to allow railing to be repaired following a crash earlier on Wednesday.
The southbound lane of SH6 Whakatu Drive between Quarantine Road roundabout and Richmond Deviation is closed while railing on the Nayland Road overbridge is repaired.
A detour is in place for southbound traffic. The northbound lane has reopened after it was closed following the crash this morning.
Southbound traffic please detour via Annesbrook Drive, Main Road Stoke and Saxton Road.
