A crash has partially blocked State Highway 6 in Brightwater.
A police spokesperson says a two-car-crash was reported around 7.30am just east of Lord Rutherford Rd.
The spokesperson says it is not clear what, if any, injuries have been sustained at this stage.
Southbound traffic is moving slowly but northbound traffic is being diverted.
