Those in Nayland Road woke up to no water this morning due to two water main breaks overnight.
Nelson City Council says at this stage, they think it’s impacting about 80 properties from the southern end of Aldinga Avenue to Songer Street.
"We already have crews on site and expect the repair to take up to four hours."
One resident says water has been off at her property since 6.30pm on Monday.
A water tanker is parked outside 4 Aldinga Ave for residents to get water. If someone has mobility issues on Nayland Rd, water can be delivered.
Council is asking people to avoid the area if you can as there will be delays along Nayland Rd.
