Two men were stabbed in an assault in central Nelson last night.
The two men, aged 20 and 51, are both in hospital in a stable condition.
Nelson Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault which took place in Halifax Street at around 9pm on Tuesday evening.
A police spokesperson says no arrests have been made, but they are following "strong lines of enquiry".
