A truck crash has closed SH63 near the Kawatiri Junction.
The highway, which is currently the only route between Nelson and Blenheim, is closed at the intersection of Baigent Rd.
The incident, involving a stock truck, occurred around 2pm this afternoon.
Contractors are attending and working to clear the crash scene.
Waka Kotahi says there is no local detour available. Road users can expect delays and should avoid the area or delay their journey if possible.
