Nayland Pool was taken over by dogs on Saturday for its annual Dog Splash Day.
Organisers say it was the most popular dog splash yet, with an estimated 160 dogs taking the plunge.

The annual event marks the closing of Nayland Pool for the winter, with only four-legged furballs allowed in the water -no humans allowed.
The day doubles as a fundraiser for Second Chance Tasman - an organisation that helps local dogs in need to find a new home.
Roughly $600 was raised on Saturday.
