A child has been taken to hospital in a moderate condition after being hit by a car in Stoke on Wednesday morning.
A police spokesperson say the child was riding their scooter when a car collided with them at the intersection of Polstead Rd and Main Rd Stoke.
Emergency services were called at about 8.30am.
The child was taken to Nelson Hospital.
