Two children riding e-scooters were injured after colliding with a vehicle in central Richmond this afternoon.
A reporter at the scene says an eyewitness told him that two children on electric scooters were hit by a car as they attempted to cross the pedestrian crossing next to Sundial Square on Queen St.
"The eyewitness also said that the kids appeared to stop at the road, so it doesn't look like they blindly sped across," he says.
The reporter says only one of the children is being treated by St John staff and Police are also at the scene.
