A deceased person has been located after a single vehicle crash in Abel Tasman National Park.
Police say it responded to reports on Saturday, August 26, at 3pm of a vehicle sighted down a bank off Totaranui Rd.
“The Serious Crash Unit have been advised, and the vehicle is expected to be retrieved today,” police confirmed.
“A scene guard is in place at the scene.”
Nelson App understands a woman who was last seen on Tuesday, August 22, in the Golden Bay area had been reported missing, and community volunteers had been urged to report any sightings.
