Nine bouncy castles are stationed at Richmond Park Showgrounds until Thursday for an inflation of kids under 12 to bounce away the stress of their school holidays.
Organiser and Blast Bouncy Castle Hire Nelson owner, Jeremy Richards, says there was a “good turnout” with about 200 people bouncing through the gates in the opening hours.
“I encourage the parents to bring their kids down, because kids are crazy for bouncy castles,” he says.
The event will be open from 10am to 4pm at Richmond Park Showgrounds until 5 October.
An all-day pass cost $10.
