A joint Christmas mission between Kmart Richmond and the Salvation Army aims to provide gifts for Nelson Tasman families in need.
Director of community ministries and assistant corps officer in Nelson Tasman Bays, Ros Johnson, says people can either place gifts under the tree at the Kmart Richmond entrance, scan a QR code in store, or visit the Kmart website to make a financial contribution for a gift purchase.
She says the donated items must be unwrapped and varied to cater for children’s interests, and people can donate until 24 December.
