A Doran St resident was shocked when a car travelling on State Highway 6 collided with her fence this morning.
The resident, who wished to remain anonymous, says she was at the back door of her property at around 8am when she heard a bang.
She first suspected it came form her neighbour, but soon realise a car had collided into her back fence.
“I looked out and it was like, ‘what the heck’, it was definitely a shock,” she says.
“I’m just glad that the driver was ok… the car was a write off.”
The resident says she was now in the process of sorting insurance to repair the damages to her fence.
Police says there was a report of a vehicle collision at the State Highway 6 and McGlashen Ave intersection at 8:11am and that there were no injuries.
It says enquiries were ongoing to determine the circumstances.
