Police are seeking information to help with its investigation into a hit-and-run involving a car and a cyclist in Lower Moutere on Thursday afternoon.
Police says at around 4:25pm on Thursday, 2 May, a black sedan car reportedly hit a cyclist on Central Rd near McBrydie Rd.
“The driver fled the scene at speed, and made no attempt to stop and assist the cyclist,” Police says.
“The cyclist sustained a broken shoulder as a result, and police enquiries are ongoing.”
Police says it is aware that members of the public assisted the injured cyclist and that those people may be able to provide further information regarding the offending vehicle.
