A Stoke street is cordoned off after reports of shots being fired outside a property overnight on Wednesday.
Police are investigating after reports of shots being fired outside an Exeter St address, with police called around 11.45pm.
Detective Senior Sergeant Sally McBride says fortunately no one at the property was injured.
"Police are following lines of inquiry as to who may be involved, and do not believe this was a random incident. As such, there is not believed to be any risk to the public."
Cordons remain in place on Exeter Street as Police continue an examination at the scene.
