Police have named the man who was located deceased at his Suffolk Rd address on Friday night.
He was 55-year-old Darren James Cook.
Detective inspector Geoff Baber says Police extended its condolences to his family and loved ones at this “incredibly difficult” time.
He added that while a post-mortem and scene examination has been completed, his cause of death is yet to be confirmed and further forensic testing is taking place to piece together what occurred before his death.
Earlier, detective inspector Lex Bruning said the man’s body appeared to have been at the house for “some time”.
