Lower Trafalgar St and Trafalgar Park has transformed into a Little Italy for today’s Nelson Italian Festival hosted by Club Italia Nelson.
The free-entry event held until 4pm is expected to be amore with all the Italian trimmings including food and drink, cooking classes, music and dance, crafts, Italian vehicle displays and football tournaments.
A raffle to win a five-night stay for two in Massa Lubrense, where the first Italians who settled in Nelson originated, is also on the table.
