More than 200 senior football players converged on Jubilee Park in Richmond on Saturday as part of the Richmond club’s annual Club Day.
Teams from the men’s masters grade up to the men’s and women’s first division were in action.
Club president Chris Sibbald says it was a cracking day for the club. “It was a real fun vibe for the day, it was relaxed, we had the barbecue running. There was nothing negative, it was a stunning day and there was some great football.”
The newly-opened changing rooms also got a heavy workout with four games played at 1pm and another three games at 3pm.
Richmond as a club picked up five wins, a draw and three loses over the day with the men’s first division team, Thistle, Brockies, Swans and Bogans Masters all picking up wins.
