Nelson Suburbs Chatham Cup run is over after a 3-0 loss to Auckland United in the cup's semifinal today.
Suburbs will be ruing the last minutes of the first half when they conceded two goals, which extended the hosts lead to 3-0 just before half time.
Despite plenty of possession and endeavour in the second half, Suburbs couldn't find a way through the Auckland United defence on a dreary day in the City of Sails.
Auckland opened the scoring in just the fifth minute to set the tone for the home side.
