The popular chocolate wheel will be spinning once again at the Hope School Country Fair on Saturday, giving chocolate lovers a chance to spin and win.
Fair team committee member, Amelia Crundwell, says chocolate and sweets donations from the community will be up for grabs alongside the healthier option of strawberry plants grown at school.
Besides chocolate, quad bikes will be taking fair goers for a different type of spin behind them, or there’s the chance to stretch out on the horizontal bungy. This year, axemen will be demonstrating their woodchopping skills, and for something a little bit calmer, there’s the animal nursery.
“We’re lucky we have quite a diverse school community that can chip in with different things for the animal nursery.
“We also have the plant sale which is massive. We have people that run in as soon as we open the gates! It’s made up of plants grown at school and external donations.”
Students will be running their own sales stall which Amelia says will be stocked with “all the beautiful things” they have created through the year.
The gates open at 11am on Saturday, 13 September, and runs until 2pm.
