Helping Families Nelson volunteer Jenny Borlase has her arms full of toys that provide a glimpse of the vast assortment that will be at its annual toy sale this Saturday.
This year the toy sale, which has attracted a large crowd in the past, will be held at the charity’s hub on Lower Queen Street with a $2 koha entry.
Manager Rochelle Iremonger says plenty of volunteers will be on hand to help and everyone will be able to browse tables laden with free toys and games.
A container-load of toys has been unpacked at the site and she says they are hoping for a good crowd to rehome them.
The sale runs between 11am and 1pm and will be postponed if the weather doesn’t play ball.
