A family of three got the keys to the fourth Mitre 10 MEGA Nelson Community Helping Hands Helicopter House.
The purchase has provided a $156,781.42 lift for the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Endowment Trust via the home’s sale proceeds, and new owners Shelley T’Hooft and her partner Hamish Wybrow have a family home for their land in a Nelson suburb.
The Karsten Architecture-designed property was built by JR Construct in 12 months at Nelson Junction, adjacent to Mitre 10 MEGA and led by its director James Riordan.
The hardware store’s donated products and services made the project well-appointed, with The Cooper Group serving as the agent who sold it and financed the building consent.
