The weather outside is frightful but the NBS Nelson Santa Parade should still be delightful.
Set to trundle down Trafalgar St at 1pm despite the unmerry weather, an array of floats and its participants are getting into the festive mood at the Montgomery Square Carpark where the procession departs from.
Emergency services, ethnic communities, music and dance groups, SPCA, vintage cars, and Mowsworth Rampage participants are among those who will be sending cheer and goodwill to the adoring spectators.
The grand finale will be Santa Claus himself before the parade wraps up at Trafalgar Park.
Cans of food and gold coin donations to the Nelson Community Foodbank can be donated at stations on Trafalgar St.
