Crowds are gathering at Fairfield House Meadow for an evening of Celtic heritage.
Pipes in the Park blasts from 5:30pm with the City of Nelson Highland Pipe Band, Nelson harpist Annemieke Harmonie, Kahurangi Irish Dance School, and Nelson guitarists Jacquie Boer and Jasper Sneddon performing.
Traditional Scottish foods including the famed haggis, are being served, and the Fairfield Bar is also open.
Tickets are $20 at the gate with free entry for under-17s.
