One person has died following a crash in Lower Moutere this afternoon.
The crash involving a car and a cyclist occurred at the intersection of Edwards Rd and Central Rd and was reported to police just after 12.40pm on Friday.
Sadly, the cyclist died at the scene.
Road closures are in place while the Serious Crash Unit conduct a scene examination.
A spokesperson from Hato Hone St John says they responded with two ambulances, one rapid response vehicle and an operations manager.
