Motueka man Nathan Green’s whereabouts remains a mystery seven days after his last sighting.
The 52-year-old who has been reported missing, left his home address in Brooklyn at around 3pm on 13 April carrying a backpack and failed to return.
Police say Nathan was last seen in the Herring Stream Rd area, where he indicated to a member of the public that he intended to head towards Motueka before walking through forest towards Rocky River Rd.
At that time, he was wearing grey trackpants with large holes down the front of the trouser legs and a grey zip-up hooded top, but didn't have the backpack.
Land Search and Rescue teams completed searches in the area but were unable to locate Nathan.
Police are now asking for the public’s help as enquiries continue, which have included speaking to residents.
“We ask for anyone who may have CCTV or other cameras in the area to please check to see if there is any sign of Nathan from Tuesday, 14 April, to date,” Police say.
“If you have seen Nathan, or have any information that may help us find him, please call 111 immediately and reference file number 260414/6742.”
