Gardner Valley Rd has been closed at the intersection with Moutere Highway following a truck crash.
Emergency services were alerted to the single-vehicle incident just before 12.10pm on Wednesday.
No injuries have been reported.
A police spokesperson says the road is expected to be closed for several hours. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
