A sticky toffee apple proved irresistible for one-year-old Crusoe Fitzgerald as Tasman Bay Christian School’s harvest festival showcased plants, baking, produce and crafts.
A highlight of the Friday evening event was the range of preserves and puddings created by the school’s Garden-to-Table students.
Principal Neetha Mudhan says the festival achieved its aim of bringing the community together.
“It was wonderful to see whānau, friends, local businesses, and community members connecting, supporting one another, and enjoying all that our students and volunteers had worked so hard to create."
The festival was organised by parents and staff, with funds raised going towards upgrading the playground.
