Motueka’s House of Travel winning streak is still running hot.
The business, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, has been awarded Top Medium Store within the national House of Travel group for the second year in a row. The awards, known as the HOTTIES, were held in Auckland last month.
The team, led by owner-operators Linda and Jason Kroupa, also received the company chief executive award.
The CEO told the crowd the award was going to a team “who are at the very top of their game”.
“Like all good teams, it starts with good leaders. Leaders who are exceptional owner-operators… [who] grew the business with an entrepreneurial spirit, powered by building a great team, noted for its longevity and customer service.”
The latest recognition follows the team’s success at June’s National Travel Industry Awards, where it was named New Zealand Retail Agency of the Year.
