For the second year running, the Nelson Motorcycle Club has finished fourth at the Battle of the Clubs in Taupō.
The junior team finished seventh while the three senior riders combined for a fifth-place result. When the scores were combined that gave NMC fourth overall, just four points behind third place.
Two local riders, Motueka’s Kase Shuttleworth, third from left, and Murchison’s Ryder Solly, second from left, were selected for the South Island team to battle against the North for bragging rights. The South Island team managed to bring the trophy home for the first time in four years.
