The search for missing woman Natalie Alexander-Browning, 80, in Golden Bay has been suspended.
Alexander-Browning was reported missing from her home in Pōhara on 6 July. She was last seen entering the water at a nearby beach.
Police, Land Search and Rescue, the Department of Conservation, Surf Life Saving New Zealand, and Pest Free Onetahua then conducted an extensive search in urban and coastal areas.
Local businesses and residents assisted with efforts to find her.
A formal review had now been conducted and the decision made to formally suspend the search, Nelson Search and Rescue Incident Controller Senior Constable Jonathan Fris said.
Police continue to encourage anyone near the shore to keep an eye out for Alexander-Browning's clothing, he said.
She was wearing a light pink fluffy Oodie and black Asics sneakers.
Anyone who finds them is asked to make a report through 105, citing reference file number 260707/5962.
