A heavy vehicle carrying a container has gone through a barrier and over a bank on SH6 Whangamoas.
Emergency services were called to the crash on the Hira side of the Whangamoas shortly after 8.45am on Monday morning.
A Hato Hone St John spokesperson says they responded an ambulance, but the crew were not required as there had been no injuries.
A police spokesperson says the truck "struck a barrier", however a Nelson resident who drove past the crash site on Monday morning, confirmed the truck had gone through the barrier and ended up on its roof.
The road is not blocked, so traffic is moving freely.
