Volunteers braved the weather across Nelson and Tasman for Daffodil Day on Friday.
Marie Bone is a cancer survivor and, for years, has joined Margaret Carter as a Daffodil Day volunteer, raising money for Cancer Society.
Surrounded by buckets of blooms on Friday, the pair were on their shift in the Richmond Mall, where Marie says, “it’s all for a good cause”.
The Cancer Society Nelson Tasman team and their volunteers adapted to a challenging daffodil-growing season to ensure there were plenty of flowers for the annual fundraiser.
Schools, ECEs, businesses, community groups and individuals got behind the cause, too.
