Riwaka School footballer Charlie Kerry is heading to Cambridge next month after impressing at a tournament in Christchurch.
The 11-year-old from the Nelson Suburbs U12 Academy was the joint leading goalscorer with nine at the Christchurch International Cup, so shared the Golden Boot.
As a result, Charlie has been invited to turn out as a guest player for a Christchurch academy at a tournament at the end of October.
