Beautiful weather, a relaxed, lively atmosphere and plenty of activities and crafts for the children made Sunday’s Motueka Steiner School Fair a treat for everyone.
Pony rides proved especially popular, while the sounds of singing, marimba and other live performances drifted across the fairgrounds. Delighted children visited the Fairy Queen, dug for pirate treasure in the sand, and made flower crowns, silk streamers and dipped candles.
Handmade treasures drew plenty of interest, busy stalls offered delicious homemade food, and traditional attractions such as the Medieval Games and puppet shows sat alongside a photobooth and face painting, creating a memorable day out for the community.
