The sights, sounds and flavours of the Pacific are filling Founders Heritage Park today as the inaugural Nelson Tasman Pasefika Festival brings communities together in a vibrant celebration of culture, music, dance and food.
Running until 4pm, the festival showcases the rich diversity of Pacific cultures represented across the region, with a full day of live performances, community stalls and family-friendly activities.
Organisers are encouraging attendees to bring cash so they can make the most of the food and community stalls on site.
Entry is a gold coin.
