Romano Raffaele Antonio (Tony)
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Raffaele Antonio Romano (Tony) (27th August 1939 - 21st April 2026)
A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Tony was a truly special man who left a lasting imprint on all our hearts and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
We take comfort in knowing he is now at peace, watching over us alongside Nick.
A funeral service to celebrate Tony’s life will be held on Wednesday 29th April at 11:00am at St Mary’s Church, Manuka Street, Nelson, followed by a burial at Marsden Valley Cemetery.
Family and friends are warmly invited to join us for afternoon tea at Club Italia from 1:30pm to continue sharing memories and celebrating Tony’s life.
A Rosary will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday 28th April at St Mary's Church, Manuka St.
