Sutherland Julia Ethel

SUTHERLAND, Julia Ethel, 79, died on 8 May 2026 at Nelson Hospital.

 

Julia was the daughter of Ivan and Nancy Sutherland, the wife of Colin Bennett, the mother of his children Belinda, Christopher and Thomas, and the grandmother of Tiama, Matthew and Jack. She was the sister of the late Diony Young and Janis Oliver and of Oliver and Wallace Sutherland. Earlier, she was the wife of David Greenland.

 

The family plans a private cremation and later memorial gathering and internment of ashes at French Pass.
