KNIGHT, Donald Lewis (Don)

On 12 June 2026 at Nelson Tasman Hospice, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease, in his 75^th year.

Don was a much loved and cherished husband of Cathy, father and father-in-law of Luke and Putri (Perth), Kris and Jo (Melbourne) and Justin (Nelson), and grandfather of Pagan-Rose, Cohen, Indie, Kimora and Kallista.  He was a treasured brother and brother-in-law of Rita and Robert, Stephen and Julie, Graham, Andrew and Connie, and greatly loved by their families.

We are beyond grateful to all who provided assistance and care so Don could stay at home as long as he did, and the wonderful caring staff of Nelson Tasman Hospice who were there for Don in his last few days.

A service to farewell Don will be held at Shone & Shirley, 164 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson, on Thursday 18 June 2025 at 11.30am.  All are welcome.
