Edmund Joseph ‘Ted’ Bourke

Died peacefully at Redwood Retirement Village on Saturday 18th July 2026 aged 86 years - his body worn out and in need of rest

Ted is survived by Sally, his wife of 64 years, 5 children and partners, 10 grandchildren, and 3.5 great grandchildren – along with his remaining 9 siblings.

Ted will be remembered by everyone that met him in ‘various ways’ but mainly as a hardworking bugger (who could be grumpy at times), who had a love of using the ‘f***’ word, a good yarn, and someone who was always there when called on.

At Ted’s request, a private cremation has taken place, and no funeral to be held.

All message to 20 Mitchell Street – the kettle will always be on and the doors open as ever.
