WATSON, Miriam Valmai

Miriam passed away peacefully on Monday, 27 July 2026 at Oakwoods Care Centre.

The last of the seven McCaa siblings from Murchison.

Cherished wife of the late Aubrey Eric Watson and dearly loved mum and mother-in-law of Heather (dec) and Brian Hirst, Mike and Yvonne Watson, Sharon and Tony Entwistle.

A very proud and devoted grandma of Marina and Ainslie; Vaughan and Rachel; Nick, Jono and Chris, and their respective partners.

Miriam loved visits from her eleven great-grandchildren Jet and Otis; Anika and Mahe; Zoe and Amy; Vanessa and Isla; Quinn and Harriet; and Elvina.

A memorial service will be held for Miriam on Saturday, 22 August 2026 at Holy Trinity Church, 27 Dorset Street, Richmond commencing at 1pm.
