Peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2026, in his 82nd year. 

Loved and devoted husband of Caryll. Much loved father and father-in-law of Mark (deceased), Stephen and Linda, and Peter and Robyn. Cherished Grandad of Jess, Zac, and Beth, and Great Grandad of Shia, Lily and Jayden.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Ernest Rutherford and "Dave's Team" for their care, kindness, and support. 

In keeping with Dave's wishes and the private way he lived his life, a private cremation has been held. A family gathering will take place at a later date. No public service will be held.
