At Nelson Tasman Hospice surrounded in love.   Beloved son to Cynthia and the late John Evans.  A proud dad to Erin and Jared Warne, loved Grandude to Anabelle, Louis, and Rueben.   Brother and brother-in-law to David and Rae, Helen and Andy, Rick and Ingrid, Peter and Rachel, and the late Laura.  Paul was loved by Ann, Meg, his nieces and nephews, many friends, and all his mates from Metro FC and FC Nelson.  'You were dearly loved, and will be deeply missed and always remembered.'  Love you always.   A life celebration for Evo will be held on Saturday 29th August at the Victory Clubrooms, 1pm kickoff - All Welcome.   'The final whistle has blown.  He played an absolute blinder.  Evo's own game, his own rules right to the end.'
