SIMONETI, Heather June (née Hunter)

Passed away peacefully on 29 August 2026.

Loved mother of Marina, Tiki, Lizzy, Gretchen and Leo treasured ‘Grossi’ of Grace, Sam, James and Kea, loved daughter of Robert and Alberta (Bell) Hunter, and beloved sister of Edna, Elise, Bruce and Max.

Heather loved nothing more than a good yarn, a dance, and sharing a laugh with family and friends. She faced life with grit, warmth, humour and a generous spirit that touched many lives. We will miss her dearly and remember her for the joy, strength and laughter she brought to those around her.

A service to celebrate Heather's life will be held at Hope Garden of Remembrance and Crematorium on Thursday, 3 September 2026 at 11.00am.

The family would like to especially acknowledge Heather's carers, whose kindness, patience and genuine care brought comfort to her and peace of mind to those who loved her.
