Passed peacefully surrounded by family on 30 August 2026 at Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village, aged 74 years.

Dearly loved wife of Dave, loved mother and mother-in law to Philippa and Geoff, Johanna, Megan and Thomas, and Cameron. Granny to Alice and Patrick.

Special thanks to all the staff at Presbyterian Support’s Harakeke group and Ernest Rutherford’s dementia care unit, for the wonderful care over the last years.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Enliven (Presbyterian Support) Upper South Island would be appreciated.

A service to celebrate Margaret’s life will take place at 11.00am on Saturday 5th September at Marsden House Funeral Home, 41 Nile Street, Nelson.
