Died at home on Saturday 19 September 2026, aged 78 years.

Much loved husband of Vivienne for 55 years.

Much loved father and father-in-law of Juliette and Halfdan, Kate and Antony, Anna and Michael.

Much loved grandad of Madeline, Eva, Sam, Reuben, Max, Mary, Claire, Harry and great-grandad of Oliver and Charlotte.

The family would like to thank the Mapua Health Centre and district nurses for their wonderful care of Tom.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Nelson Tasman Hospice would be appreciated.

A Requiem Mass to celebrate Tom's life will be held at St Peter Chanel Catholic Church, 423 High Street, Motueka on Thursday 24 September at 11.00am followed by his interment.

A Rosary will be recited in the church on Wednesday evening at 6.00pm.
