THORN, Maureen Agnes (nee Leybourne)

Passed away peacefully at home in Richmond with family by her side on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, aged 79 years.

Devoted and cherished wife of John, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Robyn and Stuart Roxburgh, Sue and Andrew Lowe, and Pene Tyree.  Loved Nana and Grandma Maureen of Elizabeth, Abigail, Jemimah and Josephine Roxburgh; Mike and Christina, and Rachel Lowe; and Isabella Tyree.  Great-grandma of Catherine Lowe.  A much-loved sister, sister-in-law, auntie and friend.

A service to celebrate Maureen’s life will be held at Holy Trinity Church, 27 Dorset Street, Richmond on Friday, 30 October 2026, at 10:00 am followed by burial at the Dovedale Cemetery, 1184 Dovedale Road, Dovedale.
