Celeste Rudd
(née Berryman)

Passed away peacefully on her birthday, Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Arvida Ashwood Park, aged 96 years.

Much loved and cherished wife and mate of the late Foster, for 67 years.

Loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Jackie and Brent, and Jim and Denise.

Loved grandmother of Sam and Devon Copp, Hayden Rudd, and Gemma Webster; and great-grandmother of Scarlet and Hugo Webster, Angus and Levi Rudd.

The family wishes to acknowledge the unwavering love and support given by David and Jeanette Rudd and also the empathy and care shown toward Celeste by the staff at Ashwood Park.

A celebration of Celeste’s life will be held at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 5 Henry Street, Blenheim, at 1.00pm, on Monday, 9 October followed by interment at Ward Cemetery. The service for Celeste will be livestreamed and details may be viewed at: www.sowmans.co.nz/upcoming-funerals
