Little Beehive Co-Op is a Nelson creative collective showcasing handmade products from 13 local artists and small business owners, alongside a carefully selected range of other New Zealand-made items. It is an ideal place to discover original art, locally made gifts and distinctive products while supporting independent Kiwi creatives.
Founded in 2014 by Nelson artists Paula Ossevoort and Rachael Brown, Little Beehive Co-Op was created as a place for artists to connect, collaborate and share their work with the public. Since then, the co-operative has grown while remaining firmly connected to Nelson’s creative community.
As well as its retail space, Little Beehive Co-Op has a gallery and artist workroom and hosts creative workshops throughout the year. Whether you are searching for a meaningful gift, locally made artwork or a hands-on creative experience in Nelson, there is always something new to discover.
