Located on Poutama Street, Mainland Auto business is focused on providing affordable motoring essentials for locals, with owner Zac Hazara saying the aim is simple, to offer reliable products and practical service at prices people can afford.
Mainland Auto stocks both new and second-hand tyres, with prices starting from just $20 fitted. The business also offers new and second-hand batteries from $20 fitted, catering to a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
Importantly, Zac says every tyre and battery sold through the business undergoes thorough testing before resale, giving customers confidence they are purchasing products that are safe and ready for the road.
“We know people are looking for affordable options right now,” says Zac. “We want to provide quality products at fair prices and make the process easy for customers.”
Alongside tyres and batteries, Mainland Auto also offers cash for cars, purchasing unwanted vehicles including cars, vans, 4WDs and trucks, regardless of make or model.
“We also provide car parts with options to grow in the near future.”
The business is currently open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays from 9am to 3pm, with plans to potentially expand operating hours as demand grows.
As a new business finding its feet in the region, Zac says the support from the local community so far has been encouraging.
